What Is Lip Blush?
Lip blush is a semi-permanent tattoo that deposits sheer pigment with a PMU machine and fine needles. The result is a soft tint that corrects asymmetry, revives color, and defines the lip border without harsh lines.

During Your Appointment
• topical numbing cream applied for comfort
• session length: 2 – 3 hours (numbing, mapping, pigment work)
• sensations: light pressure or mild tingling—especially at the cupid’s bow
• color appears brighter than final result (that’s normal)
Immediately After
• lips feel tight, warm or slightly swollen for 24 – 48 h
• color looks bold and dark but will fade up to 50 %
• mild weeping or tenderness is possible
Healing Timeline
| Day | What you see | What to do |
| 1 – 2 | Swelling, vivid color | Cold compress (clean cloth), avoid lipstick & hot drinks |
| 3 – 5 | Peeling begins—flakes of pigment | Do not pick or peel; keep balm on |
| 6 – 10 | Color looks very light; lips feel dry | Continue balm; gentle cleansing |
| Week 2 | Hue starts to resurface | Hydrate, protect with SPF |
| Week 4 – 6 | Final shade visible | Book touch-up if needed |
After-Care Essentials
• no spicy food, alcohol, hot liquids for 48 h
• use the healing balm provided (thin layer, 3 – 5× day)
• no kissing, swimming, sauna or heavy exercise for one week
• let flakes shed naturally—picking causes patchiness
• drink plenty of water to aid recovery
Touch-Up Timing
Most clients return at 6 weeks to deepen color and correct any small gaps. Touch-up is included in most treatment packages.
